This Senate Resolution to Defend Academic Freedom and Shared Governance will be discussed at the upcoming Senate meeting (March 13, 2:30-5pm). SCFA is one of the co-sponsors and we write to encourage you to 1) click here to join over 100 other Senate faculty who have signed on as supporters (if you sign before 1pm today, your name will be included on the Resolution, if you sign after, you will be included in the count when the Resolution is presented) and 2) come to the Senate meeting itself to participate in the discussion. (Because the Senate meeting is on Zoom, the vote on the Resolution will happen after the meeting, by electronic ballot.)
